Dance for Food Dates are set for our 2017 and 2018 Dance for Food Series, both in Florida and St. Louis! Dance for Food creates performance opportunities for professional dancers and an accessible cultural experience for the community, while collecting food for the hungry. To date, A4AC has collected more than 35,000 lbs. of food which we have donated to partnering food banks. Four Dance for Food events are confirmed for our 2017 Florida season! We hope you will join us at one or all of them.
Sunday, Nov. 5 - 3:00pm (Preshow 2:30pm) Saturday, Nov. 18 - Time TBD Sunday, Nov. 19 - 4:00pm (Preshow 3:30)
A4AC Salon Series Sunday Dec 3, 6pm Sunday Jan 14, 4pm Sunday Feb 25, 4pm Monday April 9, 6pm The Cotter's Salon Series are intimate gatherings hosted by Tim & Maureen Cotter at their home in Mariner Sands Country Club. In addition to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, guests are treated to performances by exceptional young A4AC talent. Industry professionals are also invited to give feedback, useful to the development of our young talent. This program has been so successful that we will be replicating it in more communities in Florida and in the St. Louis area. We want to thank all attendees and are especially thankful to Tim and Maureen Cotter for all that they have done to support our cause and make this opportunity possible for all of us! If you or someone you know in either Martin County, Florida or St. Louis City or County would be interested to host an event that could support the development of young artists that are actively involved with Artists for a Cause programs, please email info@a4ac.org.
Performing artists at every level who want to audition for A4AC programs and special opportunities may submit a video at any time throughout the year, which need not be professional. It can even be taken with a phone! Those seeking a live audition in the St. Louis or Florida area may contact us directly for a time. Artists who are actively involved with programs need not re-audition unless they have something to share which is 'different' in that it represents significant change in growth and development or is outside of the scope of what we have engaged you to do previously (i.e. a singer auditioning on piano). Please email Megan@a4ac.org with questions. Back to top
Changes are coming and we are excited! We are poised to roll out a new strategy for our Therapeutic Arts Program which will help Artists for a Cause to serve more facilities, elderly, at-risk youth, and create more opportunities for registered our registered performing and visual artists. Stay tuned for more info!
