In our October E-News you will find:

Dance for Food
Mark your calendars!

The annual Dance for Food events showcase exceptional, professional talent and provide an hour of contemporary dance to an audience whose only admission fee is a bag of unexpired, nonperishable goods. The food is then donated to local agencies which include the Farmworker Coordinating Counsel, House of Hope and Mustard Seed Ministries.

Are you attending? Let us know which event you are interested in HERE on Facebook.

Last year’s Dance for Food series collected nearly 5,000 pounds of food, which was distributed to those in need through charity food bank partners. To date, Dance for Food has raised and distributed more than 15 tons of food to the Treasure Coast and the Palm Beaches.

Cassie Gant and Tony Merritt blew the audience away with talent that had people exclaiming, “These are high school kids!?” We’d like to thank folks from Stages, The Des Lee Fine Arts Collaborative, Ignite Theater, and our warm crowd of arts supporters for attending this fun event. And of course Ken and Nancy Kranzberg for our home at the .ZACK and the Dark Room for their generous donation of proceeds.

Artists for a Cause supports artists who serve community needs.
logo

Artists for a Cause is a national nonprofit organization that supports artists who serve community needs. Some programs help artists and charities to get the most out of their collaboration, while most produce results directly, by feeding the poor, healing the sick, or solving other problems through unique artistic solutions. Additionally, we never ask artist professionals in a struggling industry to donate or give away their livelihood.  No program is merely about art for arts’ sake –
Artists for a Cause is about the arts as a solution.

We would like to thank the following for their support.
